As you have probably gathered - we love Fur Babies !
We are proud owners of 3 Dogs - A Great Dane, a Lab and a Heinz 57 mix mostly Corgi we think and 4 Cats of the super Fluffy kind.
We look forward to sharing photos and stories of their antics over time.
We started this site to generate some awareness and income for a charity we both hold dear - The Humane Society in Morgan County, Indiana.
As a fan of getting rescue animals rather than from breeders we discovered the Humane Society in Morgan County over a decade ago when we found a beautiful dog called Daisy who stole a little piece of my heart. Since then each month we made a small donation to help them a little. When Daisy passed a couple of years ago we increased our donations out of thanks for allowing us to share those wonderful years we had together.
But we want to do more - so we set up this store so we can give more !
We donate 10% of all sales to help this shelter in particular - I know there are many many good causes but this one is special to us.
The rest of the remaining proceeds are going towards a fund where we aim to set up a shelter for older dogs who often find it difficult to get adopted and give them a forever home.
We adopted a tee cup Yorkie called Yogi who was 12 yo when we got him - his forever owner had unfortunately passed and there were no remaining family members who wanted him. He had a few health issues but he was adorable and had the heart of a lion, no teeth dur to age but ruled the house with an iron fist ! We were blessed to love him for another 4 years.
So if you love the fuzzy critters and would like to help do something positive for them both in the short term and contribute to a forever home for old mutts - well we thank you from the bottom of our hearts - if not thats OK too but we'd appreciate it if you would share our story :)
