Inspired by Virginia City, Nevada, the Comstock mining boomtown. Bring your HO Scale (1:87) mining boomtown scene to life with Alpine Railworks Virginia City, Nevada Signs, Pack 1: Welcome Signs, Town Limits & Street Signs. The series covers: Welcome Signs, Town Limits & Street Signs; Main Street Shops & Storefronts; Motels, Inns & Lodging; Diners, Cafes & Local Treats; Signature Attractions & Tours; Highway Billboards, Postcards & Souvenirs. This 2-sheet pack contains two 7 x 5 inch cut-out sign sheets, printed in full color on cardstock. Adhesive is required. Sheet 1 holds 33 individual signs and Sheet 2 holds 60, for 93 signs in total across 34 unique designs (popular designs repeat so you can use them on more than one building). The pack is built around its own 8 feature designs, plus 26 bonus signs from the rest of the Virginia City, Nevada Signs line for extra variety. Feature designs include: Welcome to Virginia City Comstock Welcome Board, Virginia City Limit Sign, C Street and Taylor Corner Post, Camel Crossing Race Week Diamond, Comstock Lode Historical Plaque, Boardwalk Wayfinding Directory, Sun Mountain Town Pennant, Wild Horses Next 5 Miles Sign.
Each sign is drawn to true HO Scale 1:87 proportions, so it sits correctly on buildings, fences, billboards and backdrops next to your HO scale figures, vehicles and structures. Simply cut along the outline with a hobby knife or sharp scissors and fix flat with white glue, matte medium or double-sided tape. Decorative trim strips in the spare space make handy borders, bunting and accent details. Perfect for model railroads, dioramas, miniature villages and display layouts. Mix with other Alpine Railworks sign packs: every pack is different, so collecting the full set gives your town endless variety. Every business name and design on these signs is an original Alpine Railworks creation. Build out your whole town with Alpine Railworks: more than 200 sign themes in G, O, HO and N scale. Explore gas stations, diners and drive-ins, motels and motor courts, movie posters, saloons and Old West wanted posters, carnival midways, ski lodges, hardware and five-and-dime stores, Route 66 roadside attractions, caverns and mystery spots, Bigfoot and Mothman museums, freight car and wall graffiti, and 3D-printed billboard kits. Collect the sets that fit your layout and look for new ones in the Alpine Railworks store.
