Busch 1800 HO Scale Locomotive Roller Test Stand, 3 Blocks

$112.79
Service, run in, or display your HO locomotives with the Busch 1800 roller test stand, a newly developed and patented rolling road. Roller test stands are used to jack up locomotives so their driving wheels can spin freely; track current is transferred through the stand to the wheels, letting you run a locomotive on the spot for maintenance such as running in a motor or oiling, or simply to present a loco on a shelf or in a display.

The Busch 1800 set consists of three roller blocks, each supporting a single axle, since not every axle of a locomotive needs to be cradled. Each block uses two contact surfaces as track supports and passes current from the rails through precision-turned slide rollers to the locomotive's wheels. The blocks can be upgraded with the supplied contact springs to add a center-conductor pickup for three-rail systems. Technical data for item 1800: gauge 16 mm (HO), minimum axle spacing 14 mm, slide-roller diameter 6.5 mm, distance from rail top to wheel support approx. 7 to 8 mm, and a per-block size of 14 x 22.5 x 9 mm (L x W x H).
