The Busch 42870 is an HO scale (1:87) ready-built model of the 1974 Weimar Mobilbagger T174 rubber-tired construction crane, finished in yellow with a clamshell bucket. Introduced by VEB Weimar Werk in 1965 and progressively developed, the T174.2 of 1974 gained additional hydraulic outriggers on a revised undercarriage; these versatile machines are still used today in agriculture, construction and other industries.
Though the full-size machines look monstrous and menacing, the Busch 42870 renders the T174 as a delicately detailed collector's model. It features fully movable articulated parts with silver-painted hydraulic rams, a fully rotating cab, a working clamshell grab and hydraulic outriggers on the undercarriage. Ultra-fine printing reproduces lettering, ventilation grilles and even the safety texts on the arms, while chunky off-road tires ready it for any rugged HO terrain.
Key Features:
- HO scale (1:87) ready-built, highly detailed model
- Busch item number 42870
- 1974 Weimar Mobilbagger T174 rubber-tired construction crane
- Yellow finish with working clamshell bucket
- Fully movable articulated arms, rotating cab and hydraulic outriggers
