Preiser 16542 offers a "Home Leave" theme for the former German Army in HO scale (1:87), an Era II (1920s-1945) set from the German Reich 1939-45 period that captures soldiers away from the front. Rather than combat, these figures depict troops on leave, ideal for adding a human, home-front dimension to a station platform, town scene, or family reunion vignette.
Item 16542 is supplied as a package of 6 unpainted plastic figures, cast in bare plastic so you can hand-paint uniforms and civilian details to your own standard. The everyday, off-duty poses in 16542 bring welcome variety to a wartime layout, letting you tell stories of departure and return with fine detail at true 1:87 proportions.
